Debra Rodriguez brings us many years of experience and a passion for the population we aim to serve at Unbridled.

Currently she serves as the Director of Clinical Services at Annunciation Maternity Home where she works daily with single mom's, aged 12 and older, to overcome past trauma and patterns of dysfunction in their lives. She has also been a Professor of Psychology at University of Mary Hardin-Baylor for the past decade, where she teaches General Psychology, Developmental Psychology, and The Psychology of Relationship.

Debra holds a Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Christian Counseling from University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. She has worked on military posts to help soldiers returning from war to overcome the trauma and reintegrate with their families. Next, she served as a counselor for STARRY, a nonprofit agency providing free counseling for children and their families. Debra now works with victims of child abuse, domestic violence, sex trafficking, and all other forms of trauma.  She is fascinated with neuroscience and has taken over 50 hours of continued education and is eager to put all that knowledge to work for the population we will serve here.

On another note, Debra is a very proud wife of a Veteran of the United States Army. They have 5 children, 3 of whom were adopted, and 2 amazing grandsons. She also runs an equine rescue, where she rescues broken, abandoned, and abused horses, and provides them sanctuary to heal and live the life God intended for them.

Debra is so eager to bring together her knowledge from her career and her passion for animals, to help others heal and grow.
